Apple on Tuesday began sending out invitations to the press for a mysterious announcement to be made on Sept. 5, and word on the street has it the big news will be a new iPod. My feeling is that Apple is going to be releasing a new iPod, said Bryan Chaffin, editor in chief of ipodobserver.com and The Mac Observer. I also think Apple will use a full screen, with an interface similar to that of the iPhone.
