They resurfaced in December after a Forrester Research report concluded that iTunes Music Store sales were collapsing. Median household spending on downloads amounted to $3 about six times per year. However, lead analyst Josh Bernoff pointed out that these statistics may be seasonal as opposed to a long-term trend.
