The Apple TV has received a lot of press lately, primarily based on the overall concept, enthusiasm for Apple and fueled by the HDTV transition. However, a few things need to be looked at in much more detail. Shares of Apple climbed Thursday on an otherwise down day for much of the broader market, after an analyst upgraded the stock and made gushing comments about the company's upcoming iPhone. The computer and iPod maker saw its shares add $2.79, or 3.3 percent, to $87.40 in early afternoon trading on the Nasdaq.
