I wuz doing some benchmarkz on my computer with 3dmork 2000 and I noticed that when I accidentaly burshed my cumpter that my score went up!!!! I have dun this benchmark many many times and I have even used the Quaker thre benchmarkx.

Has anyone seen a case like the g3 apple macintosh case in that it opens up from the side and lays down for easy installment of parts??? i like those cases. Athalon 500 196mb Ram 3D prophet ddr-dvi geforce SB Live! sound card.

Should MS be broken UP?

I would like to know what you guys think on this topic, THis is my 2 cents. I feel microsoft shouldn't be broken up, in fact i don't think they have really done anything wrong. It isn't illegal to have a monopoly it's just illegal to use your monopolistic powers to drive away competition.

Does anyone know what kind of computer case alienware uses on the i think its the area 51 the black case becasue is asked them if i could buy just the case and who makes it and they said i couldnt buy just the case and they never told me who makes it, so if anyone know any info would help thanks!

Is there anyone that has seen the whistler evaluation out there and know where, i would imagin that it is not illigal to download because they usualy have the time bomb on it. If it is illegal or cosidered Warez by the moderator, i am sorry.

Restoring Audio Cd Player

Originally when i installed Win2k Pro (clean install), every time i popped an audio cd into either of my cdrom drives, Windows Cd Player would automatically open and begin playing the cd. Recently, this feature has stopped working.

hey, just reinstalled WinME b2 (4. 90. 2419) for the he11 of it on my spare hdd. I know its old and now it displays a message when starting saying that it will expire on 5/15/00. Now, i could care less about this OS, but i DO want to screw with it, anyone know how to make it so it doesn't expire?.

I have windows 2000 and DSL so i was wondering if anyone can tell me where i can get a beta copy of Windows Whistler or Windows ME. I believe if they have the time bomb on them, they are legal to download.

Need "exctrist.exe" originally in W2K resource kit

MS in their infinite wisdom posted a fix for an error message in their knowledge base but failed to make the necessary prg available except in the Win2K Resource Kit. I need exctrist. exe. OR I need a fix for error 3101 which says that the sys can't read from NBT device.

Default audio cd drive

I want to change which drive is my default audio drive in Win 2K. In win98 it is in multimedia, on the cd music tab. Now either I am just blind or dumb, or it is somewhere else in 2K. Any one know where it is?.

Hello, I have a P3B-1394 motherboard and everytime I go to startup my computer it shuts down after about 2 secconds. Then I start up again and it continues to load as normal. I am running Win2k and my bios right now is 2004 beta 4 (the newest I think) It also did this with the 2004 bios.

Hi. I have been getting K mode errors recently numerous times. . . . . . . . Sometimes while playing games and sometimes while not doing much of anything. . . . . The bluescreen just pops up with a Kmode error.

i TOTALLY formatted my hard drive recreated 2 partitiions C: & D: 1 for win98 one for win2kpro, win98 installed, but gave an error message, first it told me to install smartdrive (what is that?) then it said i had a compression utility on my drive and scandisk would not work with MSDOS 5.

If I posted this before please forgive me! No matter how i set Remember folders view settings or Use Classic desktop/folders i cannot stop the left (folders) pane from showing up every time i open control panel.

Does anyone know where i can find information about windows ME? I'm looking for a site just like this very nice site, but about ME. . . Alot of my hardware doesn't work with w2k so i was just thinking, you know, maybe that IS an alternative, or?!?.
