I just read about free proxy servers that you can subscribe to. . . so you can do your internet browsing without letting your IP address get out. Anybody know anything about this service? Is it slow? Is it secure? Is it worth my time? It SOUNDED like a nice think to try.

come on admins, enough of the a-s-s censoring! Please just set it to censor the word a-s-s, not all words containing it. There are plenty of English words that contain those letters that are not at all vulgar.

Asus P2BF Processor Upgrade

I have An asus p2bf with a 366 celeron and i am planning on putting a new processor in what type should i go celeron or pIII and what speed. I was thinking PIII but does anyone know if the p2bf supports a pIII 700 100mhz bus any info would be great.

lol i feel for all you people still stuck on windows 2000, at the weekend i finally decided i had had enough and formatted my Hard Drive. Installed win98SE and WOAH what a difference. Games ran faster, windows ran faster, no caching problems, no more physical memory dumps, ahh life is good now.

My computer was freezing so I set the video acceleration slider in the advanced section of the display properties to the very lowest. After doing this I realized Direct x was disabled so I decided to rise it up somewhere in the middle.

OK so this has nearly nothing to do with computers but, I hope that I reach the right persons who can help me out here. So I have a Pioneer DV-535 and the thing it needs to make it region free is a simple program that's about 2MB large.

kind of a dumb idea, but since XBox will be using a stripped version of NT5(2000) then why not add a section on here for it? I don't know what problems people would have or what questions would be asked but we have everything else NT here, why not an X-Box section.

I am on a intel celeron 366mhz , 128mb of ram ,and a 8. 4 gig HD its sorta slow you know. But i was wondering if there is anyway to speed up win2k pro on my computer? i know the bootup and shutdown is always slower but i mean like in win2k itself.

Hello! check this picture out: ok here is what I have to say, the controllers + dial (up-down-left-right) is concerning me. If they are not a real + but more like an o with dots (hope you're following me here) it's hard to hit left without touching up or down or hold up or down withouth dipping to left or right.

Hi guys, I am having trouble with Counter-Strike. Everytime I try to update the internet servers list just before it finished getting all the server, my internet connection get dropped. Then I would have to restart the computer or reset the DSL modem.

Is there any way to keep the fixes seperate from the list? Like the Games/sofware list would be just that. A list. Then within you could click on a link on How to fix the game. For instance: Doom (works in NT4/2000) (Link to how to get to work) Then of course of the how to get to work page it would list the differe ...
