B-Eng today introduces Secure Web 1.0, the company's new WPA2 protection app developed exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.

Secure Web protects against the KRACK-attack, which was discovered and published by Mathy Vanhoef. KRACK takes advantage of a flaw in the WPA2 protocol, which is used in any wireless connection. This concerns more or less any mobile device and laptop or computer that is connected via WiFi. Secure Web blocks specifically KRACK attacks on iOS devices.

As Christian Schaffner explains the story about Secure Web, "We all like to connect laptops and mobiles via WiFi, it is comfortable and can - in case of a mobile phone - save some money too. After we just released an encryption app, we were strcuk by the news about KRACK from Belgium just a couple of days later. Our reaction was 'no way'. Harry, our developer, took it personally and delivered this fix for iOS devices, which I am really grateful about. It arrived quickly on my iPhone, and generally was what I needed, what everybody seems to need as long as this flaw in the WPA2 protocol exists."

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 9.3 or later
* 25.6 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Secure Web 1.0 is $4.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category.
