LaunchBar 5.0rc1 has been released

LaunchBar is an award winning productivity utility that provides instant access to your applications, documents, contacts and bookmarks, to your music library, to search engines and more, just by entering short abbreviations of the searched item's name.

LaunchBar offers an amazingly intuitive and efficient way to search and access any kind of information stored on your computer or on the web. You just hit Command-Space to bring LaunchBar's input window to front, enter an arbitrary abbreviation, and already while you're typing LaunchBar displays the best matching choices, ready to be opened immediately.

New in this version:
When creating iCal events, it’s now possible to specify an alarm. If no alarm is specified, the default alarm setting of iCal preferences is applied.
The Clipboard History can now also been used while entering text within LaunchBar, e.g. in Search Templates, Calculator, Open Location, when renaming files, etc.
30-day trial period.

Improved “file exists at destination” dialog: The Stop button can now be triggered with the Escape key and the Don’t Replace button (which only appears when moving more than one item) with Command-D.
Addressing an issue on Mac OS X 10.4 when opening LaunchBar automatically at login.
