Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 3G at the Worldwide Developer Conference

The iPhone 3G is 36% faster then other 3G phones and has a great battery life. 300 hours of standby, 10 hours 2G talk time), 5 hours 3G talk time, 5-6 hours of high-speed browsing, 7 hours of video, and 24 hours of audio. GPS support is now also integrated into the iPhone.
The iPhone 3G will be available on July 11th in 22 countries. The iPhone 3G 8GB will be priced at $199 and the iPhone 3G 16GB at $299"
