Stasia Raines adored her Apple MacBook laptop -- that is, until it began randomly, spontaneously shutting down. The whole computer will shut off three or four times within an hour, said the San Diego-based public relations worker, who bought the Macintosh machine in July and began experiencing the crashes a week ago. It's awful, she said.
