Before I list my current top five podcasts and urge you to give this new medium a try, I probably should define what a podcast is. A podcast is a free, prerecorded audio program that automatically and regularly shows up on your computer after you subscribe to it online. You can then listen to the program at your computer or transfer it to a portable, digital audio player such as the ubiquitous iPod.
