DEVONtechnologies updates all editions of its intelligent information and document manager DEVONthink for Mac with a rewritten PDF sidebar and a new URL command for creating groups. Version 2.9.15 also further improves referencing materials from HTML and Markdown documents, extends drag-and-drop for Tinderbox, and lists available sync stores for sync locations. Finally, the update improves compatibility to the upcoming macOS High Sierra.

DEVONthink is DEVONtechnologies' document and information management solution for the Mac. It supports a large variety of file formats and stores them in a database enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI). Many document formats can be directly viewed and edited, PDFs annotated. DEVONnote is DEVONthink's little sibling with a reduced feature set targeted at users with notetaking-centric needs.

Sophisticated organization tools, AI-based techniques that handle even the largest collections, and numerous integration options make DEVONthink the work environment of choice for researchers, lawyers, and educators. With its fast, reliable, and secure synchronization users keep their data available on all their Macs. DEVONthink To Go for iPad and iPhone completes the DEVONthink ecosystem.

* Keep your data together in one place
* Scan your paper, archive your email
* Let artificial intelligence help you file your data
* Sync your data to all your devices, fast and secure
* Share your data with anyone, whether they use Mac or PC

New in DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.9.15:
Version 2.9.15 of DEVONthink features a new PDF sidebar rewritten from the ground up. It replaces the system PDF sidebar with a faster and more robust version, fixing many related issues on macOS El Capitan and later. The new sidebar also offers better clipboard, drag-and-drop, and keyboard navigation support. A new URL command allows to create new groups, e.g., for use in bookmarklets or cross-platform workflows. Tinderbox users enjoy extended drag-and-drop.

Further, Markdown and HTML documents can use relative and absolute links to reference materials. The update enhances compatibility to, e.g., JavaScript libraries such as MathJax too. Groups created by importing data, e.g., from Evernote, are no longer excluded from classification and tagging. This makes it easier to classify the imported materials manually later. DEVONthink also lists the available sync stores in a sync location to help setting up the synchronization.

In addition to further usability enhancements and bug fixes, the update to DEVONthink 2.9.15 brings compatibility changes for the upcoming macOS High Sierra. It fixes some minor issues related to High Sierra and enables the email integration of DEVONthink Pro Office to work with the new version of Apple Mail.

Finally, DEVONnote 2.9.15 receives the new URL command for creating groups, too, as well as many of the detail enhancements and relevant bug fixes. The updates for all editions of DEVONthink and DEVONnote are free for existings users and highly recommended.
