From Silicon Republic:
Today Mac users who have signed up for the OS X Beta Program will get the beta version of the new Mac OS X Yosemite operating system.

Developers were able to get access to the new OS when it was unveiled in June at WWDC and currently receive updates every fortnight. However, beta users will receive just a handful updates until OS X Yosemite’s final launch in the autumn.

According to 9to5Mac Apple plans to release Yosemite for free on the Mac App Store towards the end of October.
