Zevrix Solutions Releases LinkOptimizer 3 for Adobe InDesign

Zevrix Solutions announces the release of LinkOptimizer 3, its comprehensive solution for reducing the size of images linked to Adobe InDesign document automatically. LinkOptimizer saves users hours - and even days - of production time, gigabytes of disk space and reduces production costs by eliminating excessive image data. Version 3 allows users to process links placed multiple times, run Photoshop Actions and preview current settings.

Toronto (ON), Canada - September 20, 2007 - Zevrix Solutions announces the release of version 3 of LinkOptimizer, its comprehensive solution for reducing the size of images linked to Adobe InDesign document automatically.

LinkOptimizer allows users to save valuable storage space, time and reduce production costs by eliminating excessive image data. The program automatically reduces the size of linked images with an effective resolution higher than the user-defined target resolution, as well as images that were cropped in InDesign. LinkOptimizer opens the images in Photoshop, automatically reduces their resolution, and scales and crops them, replicating their dimensions in the InDesign document. LinkOptimizer then reimports the images into the document at 100% in precise position.

LinkOptimizer will save, depending on a project, hours and even days of production time for publishing houses, design firms, printers, and service bureaus of any size. LinkOptimizer will also help users increase document output speed, save the time of transferring jobs to outside sources, reduce job cost through faster processing by service providers, and speed up the overall job turnaround.

Version 3.0 introduces several major new features:
-LinkOptimizer now can process images placed in InDesign document multiple times.
-Users may specify Photoshop Actions to run on each image during processing.
-The main window now displays the current settings summary and warns about certain settings.

LinkOptimizer also provides detailed feedback on every stage of processing, allows to specify image safety bleed and shows the amount of space saved by the optimizing.

Pricing and Availability:
Zevrix Solutions introduces two versions of LinkOptimizer: LinkOptimizer and LinkOptimizer Light. LinkOptimizer Light will stay with the set of options of the previous version (version 2.5). LinkOptimizer 3.0 includes the new advanced features and will continue to be updated. LinkOptimizer can be purchased for US$129.95, and LinkOptimizer Light - for US$99.95 from the Zevrix Solutions website (www.zevrix.com), and authorized resellers. Registered users of LinkOptimizer can update to LinkOptimizer 3.0 for $29.95.

LinkOptimizer is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2 and higher, Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop CS, CS2 and CS3.
