Zevrix Solutions Releases BatchOutput 3.1 for Adobe InDesign

Posted by Philipp Esselbach on: 03/11/2008 07:46 PM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Zevrix Solutions announces the release of BatchOutput 3.1, a significant update to its popular solution to automate output from Adobe InDesign. BatchOutput allows users to automatically print multiple InDesign documents, as well as output them to PDF, PostScript, EPS and JPEG. The new version lets users output with custom settings, update modified links automatically, customize individual file names and introduces other new abilities.

Toronto (ON), Canada - Zevrix Solutions announces the release of version 3.1 of BatchOutput, a significant update to its popular professional solution to automate printing and export to PDF and other formats from Adobe InDesign.

BatchOutput automates printing and output of multiple InDesign documents to various formats using output presets or custom settings. It allows users to output multipage InDesign documents as single pages, change job name in printer queue, automate links automatically, and output files invisibly for the user. BatchOutput also automatically composes complex variable file names, which makes it equally indispensable for export of single documents.

BatchOutput saves valuable production time and simplifies workflow for service providers, printers, ad agencies and publishing houses by automating their output workflow. With BatchOutput, users only need to select the files to output and adjust the settings, instead of opening and printing each document manually. For example, BatchOutput can be left printing or exporting hundreds of InDesign files overnight, and the completed jobs can be picked up next morning. In addition, BatchOutput can run in the background allowing users to keep working with other programs thus using their production time even more efficiently.

The new version 3.1 introduces the ability to update modified links automatically during output, define output settings in the first document of the batch, customize output names of individual documents as well as other new features and bug fixes. The BatchOutput family of products is also available for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Pricing and Availability:
BatchOutput 3.1 can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions web site for $99.95 USD, as well as from authorized resellers. Demo is also available for download. Upgrade to BatchOutput 3.1 is free for licensed users of version 3.0, and $40 USD for the users of earlier versions.

BatchOutput 3.1 is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2 and higher, a Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3.
