ScreenEdit 1.0.5 has been released

ScreenEdit lets you edit QuickTime movies by copying, cutting, pasting and trimming frames. It also lets you re-compress QuickTime movies with such QuickTime built-in compressors as Animation, DV, H.264, MPEG-4 (Part 2).

An exclusive feature of ScreenEdit is Split. ScreenEdit allows users to split an movie into upto 19 segments in equal length plus another one with remaining length.

New in this version:
1. ScreenEdit now supports SMPTE effects and lets users create slideshow movies by picking two frames. For more information on SMPT effects, go to the webpage for ScreenSequence. The freeware version of ScreenEdit supports 60 SMPTE effects plus two random effects.
2. A bug was fix for the problem where the application could crash when one pressed the Split button without selecting the file destination.
