At $299, Apple TV may be priced to sell, but it's not priced for profit, according to a report announced Thursday. Apple reaps a gross profit margin of just 20.7 percent on the Apple TV, compared with 40 to 50 percent on most of the iPod family, iSuppli's Teardown Analysis Service found.
