What is new in Version 2.5?

The main 1Password application UI has been completely redone to be more attractive, polished and easier to use.

New Wallet Feature For Credit Cards:
1Password 2.5 now allows users to keep their credit cards in a special Wallet section, easily enabling them to securely store and access their credit card information.

Greatly Improved Automatic Identity and Credit Card Filler:
The automatic filling of identity and credit card information online has been greatly improved in version 2.5. The new Fill With Wallet feature makes entering credit card information a breeze.

Leopard Support:
1Password 2.5 has added support for Mac OS X 10.5 (build #9A559). Currently 1Password supports Safari, WebKit, Firefox, Flock, and Netscape Navigator on Leopard. Support for Omniweb, DEVONagent, Camino, and NetNewsWire will be coming soon.

Officially Changing 1Passwd Name to 1Password:
In version 2.5 the name 1Passwd is officially being changed to 1Password.

New Folder Functionality:
Version 2.5 changes the way Folders work to simplify the overall 1Password application experience.

Completely Reworked and Optimized Code Base:
1Password 2.5 makes several important changes to the underlying 1Password code base that improve overall performance and open the path for future enhancements.

Sync to iPhone:
1Password's new Sync to iPhone feature allows the secure syncing of 1Password information to the iPhone without the need to access the internet or make software or hardware modifications to the phone. The information on iPhone is encrypted and is only readable once the correct Access Code is given.

1Password requires Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard) and is available for download.
