Techgage.com posted a look at VMware's latest consumer virtualization offering for the Mac, Fusion 3
"Own a Mac, but require the use of Windows from time to time? With today's robust virtualization solutions, there are far better alternatives than rebooting with Bootcamp or using emulation. VMware's Fusion 3 is one of these, and we put it to the test to see if it's worth its $80 price tag, and also whether or not free alternatives are the more attractive choice."

Unlike the Armor and Defender series that we have previously looked at, the new Commuter series takes a less rugged approach at protecting your iPhone. Gone are the water / dust / sand / drop-proof claims that put OtterBox on the map. The cases we have for review today are aimed at users who want to protect their iPhone from everyday use yet still maintain a classy and sleek handset. Can OtterBox deliver to this market or should they simply stick to rugged gear? Read on to find out!"

TweakTown posted a review on the LUXA2 H1-Touch iPhone Mobile Phone Holder
"LUXA2 enters the fray with its H1-Touch iPhone mobile phone holder. This piece of aluminum will set you back around $50 USD and all it does is hold your iPhone (and similar devices) as well as some other mobile phones. But it does it pretty well.
Some may think spending 50 bucks on a piece of aluminum that holds your iPhone is crazy, and they may be right. LUXA2, however, does it in style. The blinged up cradle is complete with two Swarovski Elements crystals at the base of the holder near the stylish and well placed logo."

Legit Reviews posted a review on the OtterBox Impact Series Sleeve For The iPhone 3GS
"The Impact Series line of cases by OtterBox provides effective protection against bump and shocks that your Apple iPhone 3G S might experience during an average day. The case has specially designed inner corners that help dissipate the force of an impact away from the iPhone 3G S for added protection.
So, you just got your new iPhone 3GS and you need something to cover and protect it. What do you do? That is where Otterbox comes in with a protective skin for the Apple iPhone 3G/3GS. Much like the others in the Otterbox Impact Series this protective case comes well equipped to handle all of the bumps and scrapes that happen on a typical day. With its rubberized texture it insures a solid grip on the phone without losing the iPhone's functionality. A new addition to the package is a protective film to cover the screen. This protective case comes in two colors, white or black, the latter of which we are looking at today..."

T-Break posted a review on the Apple iPhone 3GS
"When Apple announced the iPhone 3GS in June, I saw UAE on the list of countries where the unit was expected to sell in August. So I gave our beloved telco Etisalat the deadline of August 31st to start selling the 3GS locally. August came and went and there was no sign of the 3GS landing on Etisalat. Thus I ordered a factory unlocked version from Hong Kong which I received last week.
I chose the White version this time around as I had the black one previously and the grey one before that. I also opted for the 32GB version as I had utilized almost 10GB on my 16GB iPhone 3G. As you’ve probably read on every other website there is no noticeable difference between the 3G and the 3GS as far as looks and form factor is concerned. Tech Specs state the 3GS as 2 grams heavier but I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference.
The good thing about the white version is that you see less finger prints on the back. Apple has also treated the touch screen on the 3GS with an oleophobic coating which again helps in reducing smudges. While this doesn’t make the screen on the iPhone 3GS totally smudge-free, it helps considerably. I tested this by wiping both the 3G and the 3GS screens clean and then using them for similar amounts of time. The 3GS screen looked a lot cleaner.
The “S” as you have read countless times, stands for Speed on the 3GS and oh boy- you sure can feel that. Below is a video comparing the 3G to the 3GS in terms of speed. You must’ve seen quite a few comparison videos like I did but almost all videos I saw focused on games and intensive applications. This video below is not focused on any of that but instead, I’ve shown everyday apps such as texting, tweeting and browsing."

Hi Tech Legion posted Mophie Juice Pack Air iPhone Case Review
"Being an iPhone junky, I am all too familiar with this situation, as the battery of the iPhone leaves much to be desired when longevity is concerned. This has left me to own a small army of chargers and sync cables to try and keep my iPhone up and running during the extensive use that it sees. Anything short of a backup battery source to plug into it means that I need to be relatively close to a car, laptop, or wall outlet to plug in my phone. This leads me to an exciting product that I just received from Mophie. The Mophie Juice Pack Air is a hard iPhone case featuring an internal battery pack. The Mophie Juice Pack Air features on the fly charging for the iPhone with a flip of the switch. The battery backup helps to recharge your iPhone's battery remotely, extending the life up to twice what you are used to from the iPhone. The stylish case is gloss black and gives the iPhone a nice, stylish look while adding to its battery life."

OCModShop posted a review on the Otterbox Defender for iPhone 3G Case
"The point here ladies and gentlemen, is that you need to put your iPhone in a case the moment you remove it from the box. I have tried several phone cases, and all of them have their strengths and weaknesses. Some cases can even permanently damage your iPhone.
Once again, we turn to Otterbox to protect our portable equipment. Mainly, because we've learned to trust them because they're so good. Their new Defender case for the iPhone 3G is nothing short of outstanding."

HotHardware posted a video review of the new 13" MacBook Pro
"While historically Apple has taken a bit of heat for producing notebooks that weigh in at a hefty price premium compared to their PC counterparts, it's becoming more apparent that Apple has seen the light and is now offering a few more competitively priced models for the "laptop hunters" out there this back-to-school season.
As such, today we're taking a closer look at Apple's 13" Macbook Pro."

Hi Tech Legion posted Otterbox Impact Series iPhone Case Review
"The Otterbox Impact Series iPhone case provided an excellent level of protection from normal everyday use. The rubber sleeve gave a feeling of security when holding the phone or resting it on a table top that it wouldn't slip and fall to the floor. The adhesive protective film allowed clear viewing of the screen and reduced fingerprints quite a bit. The film also aided in protecting the screen from being scratched by keys in a pocket. All of the ports, buttons, and switches were easily accessible through the case and typing on the screen was a breeze with no interference from the case. The most notable aspect of this case is that unlike many other rubber sleeve cases, it did not deform or allow the phone to slip out which is a sign of an excellent design by Otterbox."

"Our friends at USBFever have sent me over an interesting set of earbuds that work with the iPhone or iPod. They're inexpensive, coming in at around $14 shipped, and what's nice about them is that they have a remote control built in-line. This remote control can not only play or pause your music but it can also skip forward and backwards as well."

APH Networks has published a new review on the Eagle Arion ET-AR402IR-BK 2.1 iDock
"When it comes to Apple iPod and iPhone accessories, there is certainly no lack of such in the market today. And there's a very good reason why: Considering the iPod occupies the major market share in digital media players, and the iPhone carrying on the momentum of success of its iPod cousins -- the once proprietary connector that resides at the bottom of every portable Apple product has interestingly become a commonplace standard for many consumer households. As a technology enthusiast myself, I don't necessarily adhere to a certain brand loyalty belief as much as upholding the virtues of capitalism in buying the best product for my money. This is directly juxtaposed with companies building a strong brand loyalty with strategic marketing that sells products for an otherwise uncompetitive price. You should know who I am talking about by now haha. Regardless of my views on Apple as a company, when it comes to picking up a new smartphone, there's no excuse for me to admit that the new generations of Apple's iPhone is undeniably the best for my personal needs -- combined with excellent industrial design, wide application compatibility (Plus jailbreaking unlocks further limitless possibilities), excellent user interface (Again, jailbreaking and slapping on Winterboard unlocks excellent customizability), and equally as excellent media player, it captures my enthusiast heart other than the $$$ dumped for a factory unlocked version. Then it comes the time for iPod/iPhone accessories. Just like its abundance of compatible applications for every purpose, I am just learning to reap the benefits of owning a paradox-sounding 'proprietary standard' device with a wide selection of accessories for every purpose. When Eagle Tech contacted me to take a look at their new line of speakers in which they advertise in the area of awesome in performance and great prices, it didn't take me more than a moment to "spit out the rice to answer"!"
