In the fall of 2005, the Orange County Library System, located in the Orlando metropolitan area of Florida, launched a mission to explore podcasting. Jo Ann Sampson, the assistant manager in the information systems department, was assigned responsibility for the mission. She kept a captain's log detailing her experience every step of the way.
